Správa majetku Thienen-Serényi s.r.o. manages approximately 3000 hectares of forests. They are divided into two estates – Lomnice and Luhačovice – and together they produce approximately 30,000 m3 of timber per year. All of our forests are registered as 100% FSC.

Our long-term goal is to create “close to nature forests”, which means that every stand should be mixed, not only in species but also in age classes. Once the forests return to this structure, they will be better equipped to face severe conditions and upcoming climate changes in comparison to monocultures. However, the current crisis in Central European forests, caused by a quickly changing climate is a major setback in reaching this aim.

Hunting is deeply rooted in our tradition for centuries and plays a crucial role in regulating forest ecosystems.
