After a successful spring planting, all company employees met in Lomnice to discuss the developments in their respective areas.
As part of the company day, we evaluated what was successful and what was not and thus needs more work. A very successful example was the new way of rainwater management we started implying in LHC Lomnice. This includes restoration and creation of trenches alongside roads and logging paths that lead to more than 40 ponds, that are located in the forest stands, storing the rainwater to give it more time to be absorbed by the soil. Additionally, these small ponds enhance the local ecosystems and biodiversity significantly.
Currently we are preparing such efforts in LHC Luhačovice, while implementing a larger project of that kind in Provodov (LHC Luhačovice) this autumn.
